The PSLE exams have always been in the limelight of Singapore because of the depth of evaluation, the whole process of learning, the testing pattern, and so on. Parents, who are also teachers at home, worry a lot about helping their children score well in the PSLE exams. With increasing competition, both children and parents find the entire process a little stressful. But with proper planning and clear goals, parents can pave the way for success to their children.
Come up with a proper schedule :
A schedule or a timetable that will cover academics as well as games will do wonders. No child can work monotonously, some amount of sports or physical activities can have great effect in their learning behaviour. Not just prior to the exams, coming up with a definitive plan to learn the daily lessons will help children score well in the exams. Doing daily assignments, revision, solving a lot of question papers, reading, and so on can be included in the schedule and it has to be followed consistently.
Mode of study :
Singaporean parents never fail to amaze the world with the amount of efforts they take to give holistic education to their children. While homeschooling has been in the list for a long time, parents and children feel empowered in online tuitions too. An online PSLE tuition goes way forward than just teaching the regular lessons, and covers all the important aspects such as answering techniques, identification of the right keywords, home assignments, regular feedback, and so on. 88tuition has got it right and the tutors ensure they engage very well each of the students and parents are free so that their child gets individual attention. Apart from this parents and children can track their learning progress and even the lessons are video-based so that children can never get bored.
Set realistic goals :
Goals will always have to be realistic and they have to be unique. No two children are alike and so cannot be their goals too. Define the goals based on your child’s learning ability and grasping power. Seek the help of expert tutors and focus on those areas where your child needs extra support and care. Just because you are not an expert in the language, you cannot neglect it, likewise, make sure no topic of a lesson is omitted. Allow your child to read a lot, ask them to practice with a lot of audiobooks, and remember, the more your child reads, the more will he or she be able to write.
